Band saw
This bimetallic band saw consists of an alloyed refined steel strip on which a strip of high-alloy HSS cobalt-molybdenum steel is welded by using electrodes.
The teeth are milled, after which the saw is hardened to a hardness of 67 - 69 HRC.
The band saw is used in ferrous and non-ferrous materials, each bimetal quality has its own specific application.
M42 bimetal band saw:
Due to the high hardness of the edges, 67 - 69 HRC, longer service life can be achieved and higher cutting speeds can be used. Among others used for stainless steel and materials with a tensile strength up to 1400 N /mm².
