The booster is equipped with so-called ultracapacitators, also known as capacitors. This system requires no maintenance and is charged by the residual voltage of the vehicle battery. The big advantage of this type of starter booster is that it has no battery, charging can be done by connecting the booster to the battery terminals of a running vehicle. It is therefore advisable to charge the booster on the battery of the vehicle after each use, so the booster is immediately ready for the next job. The charging time is on average 8 to 40 seconds, depending on the type of vehicle. Charging on mains voltage is also possible, the charging time differs per model and averages 3 to 8 hours. The booster always remains operational. Even after years of storage, it is ready to start after a short charging cycle.
