Hollow cylinders

A hollow cylinder has a hollow plunger with a passage through the centre. This lets you pass a pull rod or threaded rod through it, making it suitable for pulling, tensioning and removing bearings and hubs.

This category contains Mammuth hollow cylinders with capacities from 20 to 100 tons and strokes from 50 to 150 mm, plus lighter aluminium versions of 30 and 60 tons. According to the description, the plunger design prevents jamming caused by slight off-centre loading, and a dust ring keeps dirt out of the cylinder.

The cylinder is connected to a hydraulic pump. Intended for workshops, maintenance departments and machine building.
