Core drill sets

Core drills are used on a magnetic drilling machine to make large holes in steel quickly. Because only the edge of the hole is cut away, a slug remains and drilling takes less force than with an ordinary twist drill.

This category offers Fluxon HSS/M2 core drill sets in a 7 piece version with 6 cutters and a 12 piece version with 10 cutters. The cutters have a 30 mm cutting depth and a geometry with alternating tooth shapes for good chip and slug removal and accurate results.

The sets are intended for metalworkers, steel fabricators and workshops that use a magnetic drilling machine.
