Tapping machines

A tapping arm lets you cut threads quickly and accurately in various types of material. The arm keeps the tap square to the workpiece, which reduces the risk of crooked threads or a broken tap. You can work both horizontally and vertically. This category offers tapping arms from Cowley.

There is a pneumatic, air-powered tapping arm for M3 to M12, and there are electric tapping arms for ranges of M3 to M16, M6 to M24 and M6 to M36. For larger workpieces, electric versions with an extendable arm of 1500 or 1700 mm are available. A matching base cabinet completes the set-up. These machines are intended for metalworking, fabrication and production workshops.
