Machine taps

Machine taps are used to cut threads with a drill, pillar drill or tapping arm. This category contains machine taps from Labor, divided into the subcategories Blind holes, Ground blind holes and Through holes.

Taps for blind holes carry the chips upwards, so you can tap close to the bottom of a hole. Taps for through holes push the chips forward instead. There are versions in cobalt HSS and in ground HSS, to DIN371 and DIN376, in a wide range of metric sizes.

These machine taps are intended for metalworking, machine building, fabrication workshops and maintenance departments that cut threads on a regular basis.
